Feeling good in a training room is one thing. Behaving differently on Monday morning is another.
Over my years as a trainer I kept seeing the same thing: participants would leave a programme delighted and highly motivated, only to slip back into their old behaviour within a few weeks. Since then I’ve built every training and development project around a single idea — that this is a journey from “knowing” to “being able to do”.
Passing on knowledge only works when it sits inside a system anchored in real working moments, real resistance and real follow-through. That is the only way lasting behaviour change takes hold.
